Anxiety?
Imagine trying to balance two cups of coffee on a board in one hand. You see, you're spending all that time trying to guess which one of the two will spill, IF they will spill, and how to avoid either of them spilling. All the while you know that you must maintain proper balance or the whole thing comes crashing down.
So it is with anxiety. You're trying to balance what may or may not happen, with what has happened, and what is happening. You're pushing and pulling at yourself and as a result ... you're staying off balance.

Everything had it's opposing force ... balance, or polarity. Hot and cold, day and night, hard and soft, large and small ... and it is these forces that cannot exist without the other. You cannot have black without white. You cannot have white without black. Each principle must contain it's opposing force. Otherwise, it would not be.
Is a Zebra a white horse with black stripes, or a black horse with white stripes? The true answer is that it is an invisible horse that has been striped for recognition ... so we many experience it. Its is neither white or black, and yet it is both. In a physical world of matter, we must have contrast in order to experience the correct identity of principle.
Cold, is simply a variance of heat. The principle is heat. Absolute cold, therefore, is the absence of heat. In the same way, we may view abuse as the absence of love. The principle being love. Darkness, is the absence of light. The principle is light. Yet, we cannot have heat, love, or light; without also experiencing cold, abuse, and darkness.
It is within the contrast of our experiences, that we find the goodness and righteousness. All the positive emotions, while choosing to leave the negative emotions behind. So it is with our subject of anxiety. Discern between negative and positive emotional balance, and the principle will remain, without the opposing illusion.
Take a little off one side, add a little to the other. Find the proper balance, and you won't feel the pulling from either side. The weight, will be easier to carry when you're properly balancing the things that matter most ... the things of a positive character. Enjoy NOW ... the present moment. It is all any of us really ever have. Be still, and chill.
